[June 24, 2026] Cynosure Lutronic, a global medical aesthetics company headquartered in the United States, announced the successful conclusion of the “Cynosure Lutronic Academy Korea” (hereinafter “the Conference”) held on the 13th, where the latest clinical value and global utilization strategies of XERF were shared with domestic healthcare professionals.

The conference was held under the theme “XERF: Full Face Custom Design RF,” and was organized to share the latest clinical experiences and case studies involving XERF. The event took place at Chebit Anniversary, Sevit Island, Seocho-gu, Seoul, with over 1,400 healthcare professionals participating both on- and offline.

XERF is the next-generation radiofrequency (RF) medical device that Cynosure Lutronic introduced as its first product following the merger. It adopts a “dual monopolar” approach, adding a 2MHz frequency to the 6.78MHz frequency used by conventional RF devices. Energy delivery depth can be adjusted across three levels, enabling customized treatments. The device features “Wave Fit Pulse” and an “ICD Cooling System,” allowing procedures to be performed without anesthesia.

At the conference, Han Seon-ho, President of Commercial Operations for Korea and Japan, stated: “XERF has rapidly established its presence in the global market, achieving 2,000 installations worldwide in a short period since its launch. We hope this event serves as an opportunity to actively share XERF’s clinical value and hands-on experience, and to explore the next direction of growth together with healthcare professionals.”

A live hands-on seminar followed at the Cynosure Lutronic affiliated clinic, recently opened in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Dr. Park Tae-oh of Relive Clinic demonstrated a periorbital (eye area) treatment procedure, which was streamed live to attendees.

Dr. Jeon Su-il of Jeon Su-il Dermatology Clinic then presented XERF through the concept of “Structural RF” — a framework that considers the full skin layer structure — and outlined clinical application strategies tailored to anatomical structure and site-specific characteristics. Dr. Kim Ki-tae of Taesung Plastic Surgery Clinic highlighted “Total Energy Delivery” as a key factor influencing treatment outcomes, and explained the “100kJ High-Energy Protocol,” which involves delivering an optimal cumulative energy level alongside pain management.
